How do I book for nail art?Nail art is an additional service added to a manicure with natural nails or nail extensions/tips. When you book your manicure request Level 1, 2 or 3 Nail Art (use this booklet as a guide). Level 1 adds about 15 minutes to a manicure appointment, Level 2, approximately 30 minutes to your appointment, and a Level 3 can add up to an additional hour. The accurate cost of a nail art will be confirmed by your nail artist during your appointment. Please keep in mind that nail art is a form of fine art, no one piece of art is the exactly the same. Nail art is also a ected by length and shape of your nails. Result always varies. Download my Nail Art Guide which shows latest trends and levels of nail art.

What are Couture Nails?Couture nails are like selecting a custom-designed dress that’s perfectly tailored to you. Just as a fabulous outfit needs the right accessories, clients with special events often want couture nails to complete their look. I begin by carefully measuring gel extensions to fit your natural nails, and from there, I craft a unique nail art masterpiece that perfectly complements your theme or the dress you’ll be wearing. The result is a flawless, one-of-a-kind creation that elevates your entire ensemble. Price depends time to create, including on whether the nails have 3D sculptural elements applied. I do not recommend extensions for children simply because they are hard on their nails and will not last. Book a manicure with level 1 nail art and they will experience my pamper power!

How long does nail art last?Nail art is applied to natural nail or a gel extension. 3-4 weeks is typical retention for extensions, but can vary depending on how fast your nails grow. The art will outlast the nail typically as long as you practice good nail care and are not finding your hands in a lot of water.

What is Gel and Gel X, are they the same? No. Gel is a liquid nail manicure system that has a base coating, color polish, and a final protective coat. Each step is cured under UV light. There is no odor with the Gel system. Removal is fast with an acetone soak. Gel X is short for Gel Extensions and are nail extensions for those who desire longer nails. The flexible extensions/tips are pre-formed nail shapes fitted to the nail. Gel extensions have natural feel and are alternative to acrylic or dip manicures.

Why don't you do DIP nails? One big reason, it stinks! The monomer which liquifies the powder is what give classic nails shops that strong chemical smell. For my health and your health, I steer clear of DIP chemicals and fine powders. Using high quality Gel brands allows for long lasting nails making it a great alternative with out the harsh chemicals.

How often are you supposed to get fills, soak-offs, or a new set?The frequency of fills or new sets depends on how fast your nails grow, which varies from person to person. If your nails grow quickly, you may need a fill every 1.5 to 2.5 weeks and a soak-off or new set after every 3-5 fills. If your nails grow more slowly, you can typically wait 3 to 6 weeks before needing a fill, soak-o , or new set.
